I wish I have an ebook reader

Note: This is not a request for gifts. Please don't offer to send me an ebook reader. They are expensive. Buy something nice for yourself with that money!

I don't have time to sit before my PC to read nowadays because I spent most of my time at my sister's place (she was ill so I went over and helped her with housework and the dog and what not most of the afternoon and evening), so I only have time to read dead tree books. As a result, I have many ebooks collecting dust on my PC, unread. Sigh, you Americans have no idea how lucky you are to even have one of those reader device things where you can then travel around and still read in comfort. I saw that Larissa Ione's book is available for $1.00 in ebook form, and since I liked her previous book, I wanted it... but I think I will wait for the dead tree book to arrive in Malaysia in about two to three months!

PS: And don't get me started about the Idol recaps. I wanted to sit down and do them, but I have no time, it's not even funny.

PS2: If you want to read some Samhain books and you promise to send me a guest review (I will of course put up your name, or nickname if you want, and email as well if you prefer, in those reviews) - that may help me clear up some of my huge ebooks-to-be-reviewed backlog.

Even if you get a reader from overseas, can you use it with the different current configurations?

I have never even seen a reader device sold over here in Malaysia, so I have no idea whether an overseas one can work.

When I traveled to Europe, I know I needed a different type of plug so I can use the current-wattage there. I've forgotten what Malaysia uses (old age). I'll try to find out from my sister who is a geek about these things. There are some very reasonably priced used ones that you can get to try out to see whether it'll work for you (and I can get my sis to take it with her when she visits home and send it to you, if you like).

I've been enjoying your snarky book reviews for years, but this is the first time I've posted here. Anyway, I'd be willing to read one of your backlogged ebooks and write a review...if you're willing to take a chance on a complete stranger. :o I'm not much into gay/lesbian, menage or historical anything, but other than that I'm pretty open.
