Gee. I have nothing to say.

Survivor has started.

The Amazing Race has started.

And I don't have any compulsion to blog at all.

Oh, except maybe to tell you guys that I will resume recapping American Idol from this week, the semifinals. I'll save the ones I missed until after the season. Let's face it - nobody cares about those lame Hollywood episodes anyway. It's the singing part that counts. So, which charity case do you think will win? The blind guy, the husband of the dead wife, the poor, the braindead, or what? After all, this season made it clear that they wanted a stupid sob story to win over anything else.

I'm delurking to predict that the widower will win. I've never cared for Survivor, but maybe I should give it another try.

the husband of the dead wife has a nice voice. If he continues to sing that way, he has a great chance. Besides, I like the name, "husband of the dead wife." Reminds me of a friend who always called her daughter's boyfriend, "the father of my daughter's child."
